Drs Learned & {staff name removed} are very accommodating and understanding. There were many appointments with these 2 doctors. They were, again, very accommodating. They answered all questions in a manner that made it clear to us what they were saying and especially what could be expected. The last visit was with Dr. Learned only, as {staff name removed} was out that day. We explained to him why my sister could not do the recommended surgeries (there were 2 options available). Dr. L was very kind and understood the reasons. He went on to explain some additional information, which made it comforting for my sister's decision not to proceed. We appreciated how gracious he was and informed us there is an open-door policy and to please come back if we ever felt the need. Also, he never ever pushed for her to have any surgery, as some doctors might. We bless them both. (Also, there were some additional appointments with other doctors, who also made all options understandable and what could be expected.) Additionally, all personnel were very kind and helpful. My sister especially liked the kindness of the person (very tall male not sure if RN, aide, etc) who would come into the room to start the session. Again, thanks to all the personnel at UCI whom we encountered.

Nothing but good things to say about staff. Dr Learned was professional & took time to talk to me & answer questions & never made me feel he was rushed. Highly recommend.

First I thank GOD.My experience at UCI has been incredible Dr. Wang is a Great Doctor and his team. I have nothing but genuine thanks to Dr.Wang and his team I would highly recommend my fellow family members and my Fellow Veterans to come to UCI. Have I met every member at UCI no but the way Dr. Wang and his team represents UCI. It feels like I have met the number one man or woman in charge and I'm still a patient of Dr.Wang. as Veteran we're just looking for someone who shows ture concerns about all their patients . I truly feel that at UCI .

I really liked and appreciated Dr. Wang. Unfortunately he has an age restriction to see patients. So I didn't fall into his age requirements being over 50. He is the only orthopedic doctor at UCI who performs the surgery I need. I was contacted a few times by a gal named {staff name removed} she may be a nurse there. She tried to schedule me with a different orthopedic doctor who can't help me as he doesn't do the surgery I need. {Staff name removed} listened to my frustration and disappointment that UCI couldn't help me without an appointment with Dr. Wang. She went to bat for me and explained my injuries as well as my desire to return to playing Tennis to Dr. Wang and he agreed to see me. He is well qualified to perform the surgery I need and I'm thankful to {staff name removed} and Dr. Wang

Great service by a wonderful doctor

Dr. Wang is excellent. The orthopedic staff not so much. I had many emergencies and questions after surgery. It took days for anyone to get back to me.

My experience with the doctor & his entire team was pleasant , I would recommend Dr. Dean Wang to anyone, and I have done it already. His knowledge & his experience were evident. Thanks!

I had a great appointment with this doctor, and I was running late because of an unforeseen emergency, and he still took me, and I just had to wait a little longer, and he was really great, and they are very helpful and thoughtful about my emergency that happened in the morning. So I really appreciate that, that I got see him and didn't have to reschedule. It was something that was totally unavoidable and so I'd appreciate a lot that they took the time to keep me in and keep my appointment day. Thank you.

Very efficient check in and information gathering prior to seeing Dr Yang. He answered all my questions in layman's terms. I was very pleased.

Hi. The appointment went fine. I think everything was well. I just have a problem with authorization. We have to do a retro authorization to Dr. Yang has to do because otherwise I'll get stuck paying for it. There was some kind of a mess up and you guys didn't catch it and I can't pay it, I'm a senior on, on a fixed income. I don't have any money for appointments on my insurance, should cover the whole thing. So please check on that for me, please. And get the doctor to do a retro authorization. Please, please, I can't afford to pay for this appointment, and I wasn't supposed to. Thank you.

I had been a patient of {staff name removed}, in performing a full arthroplasty in {patient information removed}, and subsequent revision surgeries in {patient information removed}, and a clean up surgery in {patient information removed}, but with his departure I shifted to Dr. Steven Yang. I found Dr. Yang to be outstanding with his preparation for my first visit with him, he had reviewed my full case, and performed a detailed assessment of my affected knee, and explained what the expectation would be for recovering function, and my best course for treatment without the need for additional surgery. His approach was more detailed and precise than an I had received {staff name removed} in 5 years and four prior surgeries under his care.

This is my first encounter with Dr Yang . I found him to be personable and approachable. I didnt feel being rushed. He showed me my xray films pointing his findings.

Dr. Steven Yang is highly professional and fully understands how to make his patients feel comfortable in a medical setting. In addition the receptionist and the reception area his first class all the way. Thank you for a wonderful experience.
